12 events into it and tech cocktail chicago at john barleycorn in wrigleyville was a full house with more startups than ever, live music, a guy on stilts, performance artists and lots of costumes, demos, smiles and chatter. it was a good night. i’m always amazed at how prepared the chi-town startup teams are for these events – branded in tshirts, signs in place, give-a-ways and more. it’s an impressive tech-city.

I’d like to include Uncle Fatty’s Rum Resort for future consideration in hosting an event. We can accommodate 500+ people in a beach themed venue just steps from the brown line and red line.
