to be honest, i wasn’t expecting a big turnout given it’s december and there was a ton of competition in terms of events last thursday night. but it was a great turnout – a full house. that’s the dc tech scene for you – loyal, fun and outgoing. and that’s tech cocktail – it always comes through with it’s promise of interesting new startups and a fun crowd. i was lucky to be event photographer for the night which gives me an excuse to talk to lots of people. my sore throat friday morning was a testament to how many great people showed up.
